Historic event and consumer trade show brings 800 U.S. manufacturers and Made in the U.S.A. products to 30,000 patriots in Indianapolis, October 3-6
INDIANAPOLIS (March 12, 2019) – A common question from today’s consumers is how to identify and shop American-made. Taking place October 3-6, 2019, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, MADE IN AMERICA 2019 solves that problem by bringing together the largest collection of U.S. machines and products ever and all in one place. The event not only will display the growing demand for American-made goods in a wide variety of industries, from textiles to automobiles, but also will educate consumers on how to identify Made in the U.S.A. products and inform them on the importance of recycling American dollars for the U.S. economy, local communities and the environment. By making conscious purchase decisions, consumers can help empower U.S. manufacturers to reshore American jobs.
“The White House has hosted Made In America Week the last two years, featuring brands from every state. This show will be that on steroids,” said MADE IN AMERICA 2019 exhibitor Greg Owens. Greg is President of Liberty TableTop, the only silverware manufacturer that can say ‘Made in the USA.’
More than 800 exhibitors will gather on 450,000 square feet of trade show space. As one exhibitor described, “Our vision is that customers will be able to dress themselves from head to toe in ‘Made in the U.S.A.’ apparel and outfit their house from front door to back door in American-made products. It’s that simple,” said Geralyn Breig, founder of AnytownUSA, The American Made Marketplace.
“No matter what your political beliefs are, this is something we can all come together on,” added Adam Nesmith, Vice President of Metro Steel USA. “When people think of ‘Made In America,’ they think of high quality,” he continued.
The MADE IN AMERICA 2019 kickoff show will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2019. This night will include live performances by top-selling American billboard artists and keynote speakers. Friday evening will highlight the past, present and future of American manufacturing. Saturday’s closing event will be the first annual “Made in America Awards” to honor the importance of U.S. manufacturing and to recognize the accomplishments of American production heroes, the heart and soul of homegrown manufacturing. Speakers include Harry Moser, founder of the Reshoring Initiative, which helps companies bring jobs back to the U.S.
